Hello! I'm Kris Vorren, I'm a proud dad, neighbor, and Tar Heel running for a seat on the Fuquay-Varina Board of Commissioners. I'm running because I believe the board needs a fresh vision for the town as we continue to grow. If elected, I will use my voice to ensure that we continue forward in a smart, well-planned, and equitable manner to improve the quality of life for all of us who love calling Fuquay-Varina home!

This is a voter funded campaign that will not be influenced by the special interest groups who are looking to make a quick buck at the expense of our neighbors' quality of life. As such, even the smallest contribution will have a huge impact!

Issues

The Fuquay-Varina Board of Commissioners is responsible for setting the vision and strategic goals for our town. There are several issues that I will be responsible for if elected. Below are four issues that are important for our campaign that have a daily impact on our community:

• Building neighborhoods, not subdivisions
• Promoting our small businesses and their dedicated workers
• Supporting our first responders, veterans, teachers, and care workers
• Keeping our parks, downtown, and neighborhoods cool in the summer, warm in the winter, and safe all year long

The effort we put into these priorities will promote housing affordability, alleviate sprawl and congestion, improve overall quality of life in the town, and improve community health.
